In addition to our K-Stage Move, which focuses exclusively on K-pop songs, we would like to host a general dance competition. We’d prefer to see dances set to songs outside the K-pop genre. If there aren’t enough entries, K-pop groups or individual participants may be allowed to fill in and perform K-pop songs.
You may register for both competitions, but you may not enter the same song or choreography in both.
Individual and group dances are judged and awarded separately.
The competition will take place on Sunday on the main stage.
Registration:
Please submit the form below by October 2, 2026. If there are too many entries, there will be a preliminary selection process—so please include a short application video (at least 30 seconds long, no cuts, featuring the song you plan to perform in the contest). The jury will select in advance the participants who will compete in the final on-site.
It is possible to register as an individual or as a group (see rules for more information)!
How does the evaluation work?
Each of the three judges awards 1–10 points for each evaluation criterion. After the performances, everything is discussed, and the points are tallied.
The individual and group winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on the respective day, and the prizes will be presented there. If you are unable to attend the awards ceremony, please provide your contact information at the information booth. Rules:
• Self-choreographed dances are judged on creativity and entertainment value.
• In cover dance performances, the execution, ability to overcome mistakes, and control of one’s own body are evaluated.
• Facial expressions, eye contact, and audience interaction are important criteria.
• Synchronization is evaluated for both self-choreographed and cover dances performed by groups.
• Since we only have a limited time slot, the performance should last between 3 and 5 minutes.
• Participants should arrive backstage 15 minutes before the start.
• The recording of video and audio of participants is automatically permitted, and such recordings may be used at a later date.
• A valid Yunicon ticket is required to attend. Tickets can be purchased at the VKK or at the box office.
• Participants should wear safety pants to protect their privacy and ensure their comfort.
• There is a waiting list in case of cancellations. Those on the waiting list will be notified by email.
• If you are unable to participate in the competition, please notify us by email so that we can inform the participants on the waiting list.
