Your voice, your scene!
Do you love anime and have you ever thought, “I could have voiced that scene much better”?
Then this is your stage!
At the Anime Synchro Contest, you can show just how much creativity, humor, and passion you have. Add a soundtrack to a well-known anime scene—whether it’s serious, funny, or totally crazy!
This is how it works:
- Send us your self-dubbed anime scene— between 30 seconds and 2 minutes long.
- We select the 10 best contributions and show them live on stage
- But we don’t want to let you leave empty-handed, so we’ll be awarding first place, and there will also be a public vote via our app among all participants!
Rules:
- The sound quality should be clearly understandable.
- You can be creative: Music, sounds or completely new texts? Go for it!
- You can take part alone or in a team!
- The scene must be youth-free
- Permitted language: German, English
To ensure a smooth performance on stage, please note the following:
- The minimum resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels at 23.96 frames per second.
- The video must be in .mp4 format (H.264 codec).
- The audio track should be a mono mix with a sampling rate of at least 44.1 kHz.
- The file size must not exceed 200 MB.
- Audio and video should be submitted as a single, edited file.
- For free tools, we recommend Audacity for audio and DaVinci Resolve for video.

The Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Saturday, and the prizes will be presented there or distributed afterward at the information booth. Prizes that are not claimed cannot be mailed to the winners after the convention.
