Show off your toys!
Stuffed animals, action figures, building blocks, etc.
This contest is all about you and your favorite toys—and how you skillfully showcase them.
Minimal Edit
Only basic adjustments (brightness, contrast, slight cropping). No photo montages, no extreme color grading.
Digital Photoart
For heavily edited images. Pretty much anything goes. Use as many editing tools as you want and can.
General rules:
- At least one cosplayer should be present in the photo
- The photo should be “child-friendly”, as anyone can look at the pictures at the convention. I.e. no sexual acts, extreme violence and similar “adult” themes
- Please send the finished image as a JPG (the higher the resolution, the better)
- Please also send the unedited photo with your submission so that the degree of editing can be understood.
- Please do not include watermarks on the images, as the jury will evaluate them anonymously.
- By submitting the photo, the participant agrees that HAYUKO may use and publish the image at events and on social media.
- All elements used must be either your own property, licensed or royalty-free.
- Submissions are allowed from both photographers and cosplayers. Permission to submit an entry must be obtained in advance from the other party. If it is subsequently discovered that consent was not obtained, this will result in disqualification and a possible future ban from participating in future HAYUKO cosplay photo contests.
- There is a limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries of the same model in pictures by different photographers are possible without limit. However, the setting should be different from the other photographers.
- No fully AI-generated images are permitted
- Entries that have already placed in a competition are not permitted.
- The submitted photo should not be more than one year old as of the submission date.
How do I submit my pictures?
Please upload the original photo and the edited photo to the cloud (Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, Onedrive,…) and share the photos with us via a permanent sharing link.
You can also upload a text document there where you can tell us all about your photo—location, camera settings/setup, editing details, etc. This really helps us place the photo in the right category.
